50 YEARS OF HISTORY

Stavros Drakoulis, born in Cleo of Lesvos in 1930, after mature reflection crossed the Aegean to Athens, to establish the first point of sale in Athens, with the aim of providing butcher services to direct consumers of a traditional butcher based in New Smyrna . The love for the work of a butcher, the ethics, the passion and the constant reward from satisfied customers, as a natural consequence left his successor, his son, Stratos with a big dream ... To continue the work Stavros left behind because of his sudden death in the year 1987. Our butcher in Athens was founded in 1965 by Stavros Drakoulis, based in New Smyrna. In 1987 he passed it to his son Stratos, and it has been operated under his direction until today. Since 1987 and onwards, with personalized work, with the quality of products and services we offer and above all with the support of our customers, we have managed to ahcieve leading developments in the field of sale and distribution of meat and accompanying products to consumers and freelance bussiness men . Our company currently employs a group of skilled experts in a very modern facility and always operating under the regulations set by the certification of our company in HACCP.

It was the year that the city of Kobe opened its doors to the foreign trade as an international port. By being a place of establishment for foreign people, Kobe soon became a cosmopolitan city and the crossroads where Japanese tradition met with foreign cultures. Until then the Japanese people were not used to eat meat. However, the history changed, with first the English people which tasted Kobe beef for the first time, and as the myth says, they thought of it as a gift from the sky. Since then, the fame of Kobe spreaded through the oceans in order to become a familiar name around the world.
